E-Signatures
Send contracts for digital signature directly from Renewly. Connect your DocuSign account, add signers, and track signature status without leaving the platform.
Enterprise Feature
Connecting DocuSign
- Go to Settings > Integrations.
- Click Connect DocuSign.
- Log in to your DocuSign account when prompted.
- Authorise Renewly to send documents on your behalf.
Sending for Signature
- Open the contract you want to send.
- Scroll to the E-Signatures section.
- Click Send for Signature.
- Add one or more signers (name and email for each).
- Optionally add a subject line and message.
- Click Send.
The contract PDF is sent to all signers through DocuSign. Signers receive an email with a link to review and sign the document.
Tracking Status
Each signature request shows its current status on the contract detail page:
- Draft - Created but not yet sent
- Sent - Delivered to signers
- Viewed - At least one signer has opened the document
- Signed - All signers have completed signing
- Declined - A signer declined to sign
- Voided - The request was cancelled
- Expired - The signing deadline passed
Signed Documents
When all signers complete signing, the signed document is available for download. If document versioning is enabled, the signed version can be uploaded as a new version of the contract.
Permissions
- Connecting providers - Organisation admins only
- Sending for signature - Organisation admins only
- Viewing signature status - All organisation members
FAQ
Can I send to multiple signers?
Yes. Add as many signers as needed. All signers receive the document simultaneously.
Is Dropbox Sign (HelloSign) supported?
Dropbox Sign support is coming soon. Currently, only DocuSign is supported.
What happens if a signer declines?
The request status updates to "Declined" and you can send a new request if needed.
