Track every action across your workspace with a detailed, searchable activity log. Built for compliance teams that need a complete audit trail.
Pro Feature
Overview
The Activity Log records every significant action taken in your workspace, including contract uploads, extractions, team changes, and settings updates. Each entry includes who performed the action, when it happened, and relevant details.
Accessing the Activity Log
- Go to Settings from the sidebar
- Click the Activity tab
- Browse the chronological list of all workspace activity
Filtering Events
Use the filter controls to narrow down the activity log:
- Event type: Filter by category (Authentication, Contracts, Team, Settings, etc.)
- Date range: Set start and end dates to view a specific period
Event Types
The activity log tracks these categories of events:
Authentication
- Login and logout
- Password resets
- Two-factor authentication changes
- OAuth account linking
Contracts
- Upload, download, and deletion
- Extraction completed
- Review status changes
- Field updates and tag changes
- Workspace moves
Team
- Member invitations and removals
- Role changes
Settings and Account
- Profile and notification updates
- Subscription changes
- Integration connections
Contract Activity Timeline
Each contract detail page includes an activity timeline showing all actions taken on that specific contract. This provides quick context without leaving the contract view.
Exporting Audit Logs
Workspace admins can export the full activity log as a CSV file for compliance reporting or external analysis.
- Go to Settings > Activity
- Optionally set a date range filter
- Click Export CSV
- The file downloads with all matching events, including timestamps, users, and event details
Compliance Tip
Data Retention
Audit logs are retained for a minimum of 3 years in line with GDPR compliance requirements. When a user account is deleted, their audit log entries are anonymised (personal identifiers removed) but the event records are preserved for the full retention period.
